ummm, i would like to preface the following with the reminder that....i'm a dork ; )

Yeh; I think I was asking the same thing -this comes
down to me not knowing your interpretation of "you".
So there could be many answers...from a spiritual
point of view, "I" am in everything, from a technical
POV, I'm a program, from a personal POV I'm a person,
and so on...

that's true. But that's my own choice, afaik. I mean
it's not forced upon me in any way that I am aware of,

I can't think of any way to breach the problem that
anything or all things _could_ be products of
imagination only and may not exist in any real
physical sense.

We could all be someone's thoughts or
someone's dream just as much as we could be a computer
simulation -there's no way to prove we are not. We
believe the evidence of our perception because most of
the time it seems to be correct, but that is still
only "seems". Nothing is 100% 'proveable', which I
think is rather funny : )

That's a nice model for introspection sure, but it
still gives us no solid proof, even of our
existence...

hmmm, solid proof....i suppose if we did find it, it would be momentary and fleeting, seemingly changing right before us.

Sorry; I was using 'care' in a 'beneficial care' sense
only; not in the sense of pay attention to and have an
interest in.

Yeh, but I don't think you need to be that complicated

The universe isn't heading towards entropy though, as
far as I can tell it's cyclic.

That is interesting, from my point of view because the
first people I interacted with, although not born in
English speaking countries, spent most of their lives
in them. If I think about who they interacted with, it
must have been mainly english/american college
students, so what sort of cultural education that's
given me I don't know : )

i guess a pretty liberal one...you seem pretty cool to me.

I do know that S & Hs' language is peppered with movie/novel quotes and
eccentric english sayings, and being techies they've
also adopted a lot of US terms, creating a mish-mash
of interesting slang.

yeh, i'm not really sure about how the 'english accent' is coming through, i don't really use any of the slang that y'all use. it's a bit confusing... although i do say a bit, and freak alot more now...
